The daughter of legendary Mott the Hoople main man Ian Hunter, Tracie has forged her own career as a superb singer with a distinctive approach which is all her own. The Tracie Hunter Band gave us a blistering set of superbly arranged and played power pop that showed she has certainly inherited father Ian's ability to knock out a great chorus. Great vocals from Tracie, with back-up from the Gabbitas brothers on vocals and guitar were driven along by one of the most powerful and inventive drummers you could wish to see, Steve Washington. After complimenting him on his performance, we found out that his last gig before the Talbot, was on the sticks for Marti Pellow at Wembley! From Wembley to Tregaron in one gale-lashed van journey - can't be bad!
